I consider myself a creative person, a passion-driven man of faith, and a bit of a geek. I work with people, computers, committees, and networks. The way things are connected fascinates me. I am always willing to seek out new and innovative ways to accomplish things and compare them to time-tested practices to see which way is best. I believe that all people are beloved children of God and when we start to see one another as such, we make the world a better place for each other and the generations to come.
I am also a man of faith. I believe in the love of Christ and the relationship between creation and creator as imperative for living life to the fullest. I believe that the church needs to evolve to meet the needs of the modern faith-seeker and that the mainstream portrayal of “Church” has become skewed by images of hatred and judgement and not by the main message of the teachings of Christ, which is to love and be loved regardless of race, sexual orientation, skin color or gender identity. It is the job of the church to fight hate with love and to be at the forefront of social justice, and social/political change towards acceptance, equality and freedom for all people.
